TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers considering a honeymoon in Phuket, Samui, or Koh Phangan have mixed insights due to the ever-changing conditions influenced by COVID-19. While some suggest that the experience can be tailored with cozy accommodations and limited experiences, others caution that the situation may improve or worsen as the dates approach. Enthusiasts indicate that although parties may not reflect pre-COVID vibes, couples can still enjoy sufficient open venues and create memorable experiences together. Additionally, it's noted that July and August mark the start of the rainy season, which may affect plans.

If you’re here to spend time together there will be plenty open for you to enjoy. If you want to party like crazy then that won’t be at all like pre-covid times, but you can certainly still have a good time.

My only comment would be that July/August is the start of the rainy season. If you want to come to Thailand do it, ignore a lot of comments they're generally biased one way or another and personally i'd imagine a lot of things will be returning to some kind of normality by then.

Too early to tell, things change on an almost weekly basis

The way things are now could be night & day come July/August , for the better or worse , I wouldn’t book anything just now , wait & see what things are like closer to the time, then choose whether to come here to Thailand or go somewhere else

Honeymoon: only thing you need is a cozy hotel and room service 🙂
