going to get my thai ED visa in Hanoi at the thai embassy in a few weeks. does anyone know the current cost they charge? i have heard and read conflicting quotes; 40 USD, 80 USD 2000THB and 3000THB. any help on the actual price is greatly appreciated, as i am under the impression that it needs to be paid in USD in Hanoi and i'd like to get that sorted before I arrive. thanks for the help this forum is great.

yep, it's posted as 80 US on their website and it's been talked about on a LOT of the groups when people say they go there for ED visas that they require at least 10K baht in a bank account
