What is the best way to change from a Non-B visa to a Non-O (spouse visa) while living in Thailand?

I’m a foreign woman married to a Thai husband. Currently, living in Thai holding Non B. I need to change to Non O (spouse visa) and understand that I need to leave the country. My questions are:

1. Which one is recommended to enter Thai:

- with tourist visa and change Non-O

- any other suggestion? (that I may not aware of)

2. If entering with TR visa, which country is better in terms of process and fewer days to get

- Malaysia

- Singapore

- Laos

- Vietnam

Are you actually on a Non-B visa or an extension of stay based on a Non-B because if your on an extension then your Immigration Office may allow you to change the reason for your extension to marriage, ask them?

I got my Non-O based on marriage from Laos, it was easy peasy.

Log in to the evisa website and start your application before you even leave, and submit it when you can prove you are in Laos.

But you do need to go to the Embassy and pay for the application in person at both locations in Laos, I think.

And, they did request that I upload copies of husbands ID and our marriage documents that were dated and signed by my husband. That was not specified on the evisa website.

Just get your Non Imm O in a neighbouring Country

instead of a Tourist visa.

Laos would probably be the quickest depending where you are in Thailand
