Best thai visa to get for me and my family if we are under 40 and get 4500 usd a month from retirement?
Answer summary
The best visa options for a family earning $4500 a month from retirement and under 40 include a combination of visas such as the Education (ED) visa for children attending international schools, which allows parents to apply for a Guardian visa. Other alternatives discussed include the Non-B visa accompanied by a Non-O family visa. It's noted that individuals under 50 may have limitations for a retirement visa, suggesting exploring alternative visa options like the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), though some mention that DTV offers limited security unless used for longer tourist stays.

International school alone will chew up half of that or more
If you are under 50 it's not possible to obtain a visa based on retirement. You need to find another way. Might be worth looking at the DTV if you are willing to sign up for an activity that covers a soft power application
