What documents are required for a medical soft power visa application in Thailand, and can I apply from a clinic instead of a hospital?

Hello everyone,

I am looking to do soft power medical and had a few questions.

I have been in chiang mai going to a medical clinic who does mostly plastic surgeries. I have been going there because they have a hyperbaric oxygen chamber which I have been using for autoimmune issues. I have been going there for the last 3+ months about 20 times a month.

1. What are all the documents needed from my medical clinic to apply for the visa?

1. Can I still apply even though it is not a hospital?

2. Are there specific countries where you found the process smooth and faster?

If anyone has successfully gotten approved for medical soft power and is willing to message me about their experience it would be much appreciated.

The only thing unsettling for me is the fact that it can take days or weeks with no guarantee of approval and I would like to lessen the amount of time away from my treatment.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the requirements and process for obtaining a medical soft power visa while receiving treatment at a clinic in Chiang Mai that focuses on plastic surgeries and offers a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. They have been visiting the clinic for over three months for autoimmune issues and are concerned about the documentation needed and the possibility of getting approval quickly. Respondents suggest that key documents include medical history, diagnosis, treatment plans, appointment schedules, and a doctor's letter. Some embassies may not accept clinics, and Hanoi has been mentioned as a smoother application process, but it's noted that there are stricter regulations regarding soft power visas currently.

You asked this a month ago, you've been in the group 5 months, use the search tool on the group's main page keyword medical. On the face of it you might be a good candidate for the DTV. Provide your medical history at the clinic, your diagnosis, your treatment plan lasting at least 6 months, appointment schedule, doctor's letter, doctor's ID, clinic certification/registration.

It's difficult to get the medical based DTV visa.

What is your passport nation?

Where will you be applying for the DTV visa?

Do you have medical care documents from your Thai doctor and hospital in Thailand which will accept you as a patient? Scheduled, planned appointments and length of the required medical care?

Some embassies dont accept clinics. Check with the embassy you plan to use first. Hanoi is the smoothest and fastest. But they are also seeming to be more strict on soft power right now
