Is an appointment required for visa extension at counter K (MTT) in Thailand?
Is counter K, (visa extension) MTT now requiring an appointment be made online first?
Answer summary
Currently, counter K for visa extensions at Muang Thong Thani does not require an appointment; it remains a walk-up service. However, having an appointment can significantly expedite the process compared to the regular queue.

It is not, it is still walk up service, BUT if you have an appointment it is a LOT faster than queuing up with the zombie horde there to get extensions
Here's the link, pick Muang Thong Thani see if there are any openings on the day you wanna go
