TLDR : Answer Summary
When a bank in Thailand closes or freezes your account, there are established procedures to recover your funds. The account is typically frozen until you provide the necessary documentation. Although many users report delays, you may still be able to transfer funds to another bank during the freeze, depending on the bank's policies. Some users have noted success by visiting a bank branch with the required identification and banking materials to initiate access to their funds, which can take 7 to 14 days.
19 August I got the message 30 days notice tried transferring funds out no luck many times.
Today on a call to them I was informed appear at branch with a passport passbook ATM & me they will start the process to allow me to access my money between 7 to 14 days I should have access to my funds.

I still can transfer money to BKK Bank but I don’t have access to the app anymore.
I’ve got a information that I have to confirm my mobile #. In three weeks i am in Thailand and gonna get a receipt from AIS and show it to the bank and hopefully it will be fixed afterwards.
i open an bank account 10 years ago with a tourist visa. Will they freeze my account? I use it when i come to Thailand every year for two months as a tourist. I was able to use it last year.
I’ve heard it quoted that it is more recently opened Bangkok Bank accounts that are under scrutiny now. That’s not to say that they won’t dig deeper though.
Anecdotally, there seems to be a consensus that older accounts (4+ years?) are less likely to be frozen.
That's been the case for me - 5 year old account, opened with the assistance of an agent. Still open and active, no issues.
Do you have the Bangkok Bank ap on your phone? You could try opening it to look for any messages about your account status. You could also try to make a small purchase, like topping up your Thai mobile phone.
However, I would only do this with a VPN active, with location set to Thailand.
It depends on your branch; If you have not heard from them yet, you maybe ok. Some long-term account holders like yourself have been able to keep their accounts open. Visit your branch when you are in Thailand next.
