I'm here in Vientiane getting ready for visa pickup. If I am not present when my number is called, but still come before closing, will my visa be voided?
I am number 573 and close to the end so I'm planning on arriving at 2:30pm. But just in case my number has already been called, will my visa be voided the moment I miss, or would I still be able to pick it up at 2:30pm even if my number is called?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among users is that if you miss your number for visa pickup in Vientiane but arrive before closing (around 3:30 PM), you should still be able to collect your visa. It seems that as long as you show up before the cutoff time, your visa will not be voided immediately after missing the call. However, specific experiences vary, so it is advisable to arrive promptly to avoid complications.

Hi all, had no problems. Not sure if you could come anytime for pick up, but my number wasn't called until 15:50. As usual, trip to VTE was smooth and easy, nothing new, so I won't make a full post about it. As always, I appreciate the help much!
I have never waited for my number to be called to pick up a visa just waited in line and handed over my number. I thought the number was to find your passport faster.
, I have never heard of anyone getting a void stamp at Savannakhet, if you can't meet the documentation required they don't even take your application.
in Vientiane you pay when you get your passport back and they give them back in the order they took them the day before.
So what ever number you were when you turned in your passport one morning is the same number you will be when you pay for your visa and get your passport back the next afternoon
