Take the letter from your school and go to the immigration office where you got your extension and they will cancel the extension effective the date on the letter. You can go a week early and cancel it if you want to

why is it totally necessary to cancel the visa. Can you not just leave or does it crest a problem coming back in the future

If you're ever gonna come back, study, get another type of visa extension, having an 'open extension' (even one that ran out) in your passport is something you don't want
