What documents do I need to apply for a Thai tourist visa while working in the UK?
Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice from anyone who has experience applying for a Thai tourist visa. 🙏
I work full-time in the UK and receive weekly payslips. I have an employment contract that was issued around eight months ago, as well as a work rota/shift letter.
I’m planning to apply for a Thai tourist visa and would like to know whether these documents will be sufficient:
• My employment contract from eight months ago.
• My weekly payslips showing my regular income.
• My work rota/shift letter.
Do you think these documents will be enough, or do I also need a new employment confirmation letter from my company’s HR department confirming that I’m still employed full-time?
If anyone has applied for a Thai tourist visa in similar circumstances, I’d be very grateful if you could share your experience

If your trip is 60 days or less you don't need any visa, just enter on free 30 day and extend 30 if staying longer

Paul Franklin half a day lost at immigration and the extension costs more than a tourist visa, $50 USD (1900 Baht). And if the airline wants to see an onward travel proof, you will have to spend another $50 USD on a one-way ticket. This makes your advice a BAD advice

Greg Alexander they didn't mention anything about their length of stay. My advise was clear. You're then one giving bad advise when you tell people they will be locked ip and deported for 1 or 2 day overstay.
The time it take to get an extension is dependent on how busy the IO at the time. The time is also irrelevant if a person wants to extend their stay without leaving the country.

UK last 3 months bank statements, flight confirmation, utility bill or something showing name and address of where you live, confirmation of address in Thailand, copy of passport and a passport type photo less than 6 months old, you can do this with your phone against a white background, best to get all documents together before filling application form in ... 👍

I have applied for the 90 day visa and they asked me for 3 months pay slips.

Ginette Kielty Over the years, I have obtained 4 Non-O 90 visas, and I've never been asked for payslips, only 3 months' bank statements.
