What documents are needed for a Thai visa application in Jakarta for Koreans, and how can I expedite the process?

Approved in Jakarta - Soft Power(Muay Thai)

The process was smooth and stress free.

I recommend going early in the morning around 07:00. Check the documents multiple times and organize them well. There are people who spend a long time for checking and organizing their documents in front of the counter. Don't do that. The people waiting outside are suffering from the hot weather.

Korean passport holder

Visa fee : free for Koreans(also Singaporeans, Malaysians and Tunisians)

Processing time : 3 business days

Documents

- passport bio page

- 2 recent photos

- proof of stay in Jakarta

(hotel reservation and EVOA details)

- in and out flight ticket

- bank A's statement for 6 months

(transferred approx 500k THB 1 day before applying; my main account, so there are many transactions)

- bank B's statement for 6 months

(deposited approx 250k THB for ages; I don't use this account, so there are no transactions)

- muay thai gym documents

(3 months course; highly recommend Tiger Eye Martial Arts if you are staying in Bangkok)

- condo lease/rental agreement

(not required, but I thought it might help with the visa application)

Do you fill the application form there or you download and print it beforehand?

If you fill it out at the embassy, your queue will be passed. I recommend filling it out before heading to the embassy. You can download it from the Jakarta embassy website.

True, but I saved 5.6 million IDR because the visa fee waiver is only available for walk in.

Why they need a lease while you are not supposed to be in Thailand yet?

Mo Amdl Malaysia requires 6 months accommodation paid for in their application. Jakarta does not but no harm in adding booked accommodation. You can be approved without it.

Mo Amdl That's fine, many do not include accommodation as Jakarta does not require it for approval.

It wasn’t required, and they didn’t request it. I just submitted it because I thought it might help as proof of financial stability. As you know, there’s no standard for the DTV visa application.
