For *BANGKOK* you need:

1. Your passport.

2. Copies of: (sign each page)

a. Data ("picture") page

b. A copy of the page with visa exempt stamp

c. A copy of the departure card

d. A copy of embassy letter

3. ONE passport photo (only handed one photo. Others have said 2 is needed. )

4. 1,900 THB fee (be sure to hand it separate from you stack of papers or they will drop it.)

5. A form acknowledging the overstay penalty. They will provide this.

- Your nationality

- A copy of the stamp the stamp they put into your passport (if successful)

- A reason why it was rejected (if unsuccessful)

OK got it. However, had a Thai friend call the office just before closing, and they claimed they knew nothing about embassy letters at the moment 🤷🏻‍♂️ Figure it’s just gonna take a trip down there to see what will happen. Thanks for the info guys.

For 30 days extension You need ONLY:

-passport

-copy of passport front page

-copy of stamp/visa page

-copy of TM6 form..arrival card

-filled TM7 form..application

-two passport photos

-1,900 Thai baht fee

-your home country Embassy request for the 30 days extension.

Simply the application for a 30 days extension from your home country Embassy i.e US Embassy...with their Letter requesting Thai Immigration CONSIDER your request...1,900 Thai baht fee.

No guarantee Thai Immigration will grant it. Its their decision.

Immigration could decide to deny it and give you 7 days to depart Thailand.

Be prepared to discuss why you are requesting the extension.

US/UK/ Australian citizens are normally treated the same as Europeans or Russian for example
