What could be the reasons for my Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) rejection by the Thai embassy in London?

Question

DTV rejected after two weeks from London.
What do you think it should be a reason of rejection since Thai embassy doesn’t give any justification of their decision?

My profile:

- Solo company owner, contracting with 3rd party of my client as a consultant. Contract details highlight payment, working hours, remote working.

- submit three month statement of my income and bank account balance above requirement.

- Police clearance clear

- Home owner in the UK.

- British citizenship.

Don't forget all applications are made to THAI consulates. Therefore, Thai DTV specialist visa agents such as Issa Compass and Thai Visa Centre are best placed to assist. Occasionally, a consulate has responded with a brief explanation of why an application was rejected. Nothing lost in asking. Don't be influenced by mischievous posts such as a couple on this thread; 'they're rejecting more workation applications' and, 'They are also rejecting soft power by the dozen at the moment from what I’ve seen, must have met there quota'.

It is clearly stated on their website that no reasons will be given if rejected.

It didn't clearly state which scheme, remote worker, workcation, or freelancer. You also need to include that you are allowed to specifically work in Thailand remotely and that you will have no interaction with Thai businesses or Thai entities in the course of your work. Possibly a CV/Portfolio, business registration documents, proof of paying your taxes

Just remote work isn't enough. You need permission from the company to specifically work remotely from Thailand and stating that you won't work with any Thai entities or clients inside Thailand.

And yes I realise it's your company but you still need that letter on company letterhead with you the author and the addressee
