Can I obtain a DTV in Thailand while working remotely for an Australian employer?

Hope everyone’s doing well on this fine Sunday!

Wondering how many people out there have managed to get a dtv with a generalised Aussie fifo set up? I’ve been coming to Thailand in every offswing since around March and have metv, haven’t so far had any issues with immigration.

Most of the time it has been to travel to different places but I am wanting to settle there and only be in Aus for work when required.

My job role is essentially hybrid project management so I can and do perform most of the role remotely anyway, but I also need to be on site some of the time as well, more than I’d have liked this year due to different jobs, it’s worked out to be approx 2.5 weeks Thailand and 2.5 weeks at work on repeat. This should calm down going into the new year.

Am I likely to struggle to pass the dtv requirements with this kind of work set up, and does anyone had any advice or can recommend a good agent to get it over the line? Ideally bkk or Pattaya if anything needs doing in person but doesn’t really matter where if I can do it all online.
