TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience of trying to renew their visa on the last possible day, facing an overstay situation. They initially applied in Chonburi but encountered difficulties because the immigration officer denied their application, telling them to return the next day due to heavy traffic and limited processing capacity. After receiving advice from commenters and returning later in the day, they successfully acquired their visa extension. The responses also highlighted the risks associated with waiting until the last day for visa applications.

I never wait until the last day for my annual extension or the 90 day report. You never know what surprises are in store. Even as simple as printers not working.

Immigration there has been saying for a few months now that they only take so many people each day, and not to wait until the last day.

We definitely don't recommend you overstay but waiting until the last day is unfortunately what so many recommend...

There is nothing wrong to come on the last day!? But as the immigration officer is on higher position you should pay the overstay and learned the lesson.
