To all DTV E–Visa applicants in the Western region of USA (consular jurisdiction of the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles): 

the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles has Updated their DTV E–Visa Financial Requirements as of December 3, 2025: 

it is Now = USD $17,000.- Dollars, unlike at the Thai Embassy in DC or the Thai Consulates in Chicago or New York, where it is still USD $16,000.- Dollars

Well the exchange rate isn't there yet, but it sure is close to crossing that 16,000 number. Guess they are just planning ahead since most people expect the exchange rate to continue to worsen this year.
