What are the steps to extend my student visa in Thailand and how can I manage my internship and driver’s license?

Hi Guys, so I am on my second yearly extension of stay (Student visa, bachelor studies at thai university) and my current extension is running out on dec17. TBH I don't remember anything about the Immigration policies bcs i spent most of covid in Germany. I do have to make an appointment in advance, right? can i do that already? and how long in advance should i go before the extension is up? I'll get the necessary documentation from uni but i don't quite remember if i needed anything else.

Also I'll have to do an internship next year and i'd love to know if anyone has any expreience on this. My teachers told me that im gonna get paid for my internship but i fear it is conflicting with work regulations as im not allowed to work on a student visa. Also I already got an offer for the internship and they said they gonna pay me. I don't need the money but if it is possible i wouldn't say no either :D

last but not least an everything else question: I've been wanting to get my Thai drivers license for an eternity. I have my german license and an international one. I stay in Bang Khae and ive been told that the office responsible for this area is the one at wat rai king in nakhon pathom province but the last time i went there they didn't know anything about getting a leicense for foreigners. Any hint on what i can do?

Greatly appreciate any advice! Thanks Y'all <3

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on extending their student visa, managing a paid internship which may conflict with visa regulations, and obtaining a Thai driver's license. They need to know when to make the visa extension appointment, required documentation from their university, and steps to follow for potentially conflicting work regulations. Additionally, they are looking for assistance regarding obtaining a driver's license, particularly for foreigners.

You can apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stay at most immigration offices.

You will need paperwork from your university along with whatever else your specific immigration office wants you to have. It's different at every office as they can each make their own requirements. At the minimum you'll need copies of your data page of your passport, and your extension stamp and entry stamp into Thailand.

Appointments are not required, but you can make one as far ahead of time as they will allow you to make one. You can google for the website as each area of the country has their own website for making appointments.
