What are the requirements for the 65K monthly income for a Non-O visa in Thailand?

Are there strict rules regarding the 65K income requirement for a Non-O (source, seasoning etc)? I've had 800K on deposit for some time and am considering changing to the 65K month requirement. Also, I assume 65K is the minimum monthly and does not need to be exactly 65K. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 65,000 THB monthly income requirement for a Non-O visa in Thailand is strictly enforced. Expat applicants must demonstrate a full 12 months of overseas transfers of at least this amount, without missing any months. Documentation of income sources such as tax receipts or letters from pension providers is often required. The income must come from abroad, and some immigration offices may require additional proof of income origin. While 65,000 THB is the minimum, the amount does not need to be exactly 65,000. Alternatives like maintaining a deposit of 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account can be easier for visa renewal.

I missed a month but Chon Buri immigration officer ran it past his supervisor and I was given a pass ๐Ÿ˜…

I mistakenly transferred in late January instead of early February.

Is that 65k for each person in the family?

It's a lot easier to make one single deposit of B800k and not have to think about it for a year instead of hoping your transfers come in perfectly without fail 12 times.

If your embassy in Thailand confirms your income of at least 65,000 THB, this document is sufficient. Unfortunately, not all embassies offer this service.

not really that strict. If you keep the 800k in your Thai bank account, start transferring in at least 65k each and every month as a transfer from your home country bank. If you've done this for the 12 months prior to your next annual extension of stay, you should be able to change to the income method. Once you're approved for your next Extension of Stay under the income method, you would be free to withdraw/use/transfer the 800k.

ALWAYS confirm with your local immigration office as each can vary.

At Kalasin it has to be at least เธฟ65k deposited every month, but it doesn't have to be all at once, for 12 months. They also wanted to see proof of where the income came from in your home country, tax receipts, a letter from your company pension and or government pension. Things like that.

in CM, they want, insist, on an FTT (foreign transfer) on your bank statements. No further info is requested, that is accepted. Wise transfers give me that every time, when i follow the correct procedures.

Thanks for that. For some time I've been making deposits here via wire transfer from my bank. My Thai bank posts the deposit "Transfer Deposit." It doesn't read "Foreign."

when you use Wise, in the Reason for Transfer, scroll to the bottom of the list for Funds for Long Term Stay. Wise say they dont guarantee it works, but thats arse covering, it does.

They are strict on there being a minimum of 65k baht per month coming from overseas and you must have a full 12 months of transfers immediately prior to applying, you can't miss a month and make it up the next month either

Unless your embassy issues an income affidavit, 65K baht per month must be transferred internationally, as the minimum amount.

Depending on your local immigration office, you may need to provide proof of source in your home (or other) country. You need to check with your local office.
