How I got my dtv

20k baht 6 month muay thai course 2x per week.

Ā£11000 for 3 months bank statement stamped by the bank. Declaration of non travel while waiting for visa.

Declaration to not work in Thailand.

Introduction about myself.

Ā£300 visa application.

Flights e ticket.

Address to stay in Thailand.

Monthly income.

It wasn't that hard, no agent necessary. Took less than 1 week to get accepted. A bit longer to find the right gym that does dtv etc.

GREAT SUCCESS!

GOOD LUCK.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster successfully obtained a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand by enrolling in a Muay Thai course that costs around 20,000 Baht for six months, attending classes twice a week. They provided a stamped bank statement showing £11,000 for three months, a declaration of non-travel while waiting for the visa, a declaration to not work in Thailand, and additional documentation such as flight tickets and a local address. The entire process took less than a week without the assistance of an agent. Numerous comments followed, inquiring about the DTV duration, application procedures, potential for a five-year visa, and personal experiences regarding Muay Thai schools and visa strategies.

there is a bit of resentment from the retirees & marriage dudes about the DTV, but it its a simple way for those under 50 to stay.

is Muay Thai also a 5 year thing?

Larry Wheeler not a bad shout tbf.

I was done with the headache of immigration at the airport.

Done 3 months and overstayed 8 days. 2 months later went back and you'd of thought I was a wanted man. Took into immigration for over an hour. Went through all my details they checked out, showed cash then she said "you know I can stop you coming in if I want to"

I didn't want the headache again. Plus I'm going for 4 months this time.

What is the US dollar equivalent that must be in your US bank account for at lease 3 months prior to applying? I thought it was around $15,000.00? Do you by chance know the official website we need to use to check the updates and changes concerning the Thai Visa?
