TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry pertains to the requirements for obtaining a Non-Immigrant O visa for a Thai wife, specifically seeking information about necessary documentation, such as certified English translations of Thai documents like marriage registrations and IDs, and where to find a certified translator. Additionally, the discussion includes alternative visa options and recommendations for dealing with Thai consulates.

then just go to Savannakhet Lao or HCMC to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage. OR if you're gonna go the yearly extension route just get a 90 day single entry from Vientiane, Savannakhet or HCMC and get the year extension inside the country at your immigration office.
You sure don't need to slog all the way back to the US and screw around with possibly the most difficult thai consulate in the USA to deal with (Washington DC) just to get a Non-O based on marriage.
Why not just go to one of the thai consulates nearby that issue year-long, multi-entry Non-O visas without proof of funds like the ones in Savannakhet Lao or Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam?
Those accept thai language marriage certificates and thai i/ds and thai house book listings without any issue at all.
Sorry, but this page is for Thai visa advice. Reading the requirements there is no need for a certified English translator, unless you are a non-us citizen and have the documents in your native language. i guess if you type in Google translation service in Washington DC, you will get some links
You are on the good page, not understand the question of translator. Just the mentioned copies in point 1 to 5 and if you are a non-us citizen point 6 to 8.
