What are the requirements for obtaining a DTV for muay thai training in Thailand?
I am currently looking into starting my DTV applying under the soft power category as a muay thai fighter. I just did 8 months of training bouncing between gyms. I was wondering if anyone has done the visa themselves and got the enrollment letter because my gym in Samui said they would do it but only if I paid for 6 months of training in advance but I will not be at that gym that long. Any advice would be appreciated

You need 6 months or even 9 months of a pre-paid course in some cases to get approved

You need to register for at least 6 months, but many now say 9 months or more. Also, it is registration in a course, not just registering at a gym. You need to ensure that the gym has a course that is acceptable to the MoFA
