I applied for my DTV (Soft Power β Muay Thai) through an agency called Sabai Pattaya. They asked me to travel to Laos for the application.
I arrived on March 9, and they submitted my visa application right away. My interview was scheduled for March 20. They mentioned this was a bit longer than usual, but it seems to be the new standard.
In the meantime, I traveled around Laos.
The agency picked me up from the airport on March 9 to take photos and handle the payment. They also picked me up on the morning of the interview and prepared all my documents, as well as briefing me on what to expect.
The interview itself took about 10 minutes, and I received approval just a few minutes later.
After approval, the agency arranged my transport back to the airport (I was lucky enough to get a flight the same day). They also arranged an agent in Bangkok who was waiting for me upon arrival. He took me to a separate officer, and my passport was stamped immediately.
I had previously been denied entry in early March, which is why I applied for the DTV visa.
Overall, this was a really good experience, and I would definitely recommend this company. I understand every situation is different, but they truly did everything they could. They stayed in contact with me throughout the entire 10 days and even assisted me during my travels in Laos. A true blessing.
Good luck everyone π Sawadee!

thank you for sharing your experience with the DTV soft power visa. On the Muay Thai course for 15,000 baht is it for 3 months or 6 months course? Is there anyway you can share the visa agency contact information as I am also interested in the DTV soft power visa?
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
Did he took your Phone and scroll down by himself all the past transactions ?, or did you show him by your self + the 3 bank statements? I mean, what if you were below 500k thb on november or if someone lends you money on november to reach 500k can he see that ?
