Hi guys, thank you for this group taht made me stay so long time on tourist visa here !!! however the things have changed now , I have Non Immigrant O Single entry visa based on marriage, and I need some advices.

I will travel around 3 times out of Thailand this year, and I ask myself if a Non O multi entry wouldn't be better than the one year extention. I am not sure of the pros and cons in these 2 methods especially about the price .

Also immigration ask me many documents for the 1 year extension, and I am not sure if I have to do everything again if I move to another house or another city.

It would be nice if someone could highlight me about all this. I know I could go to ask all this to Immigration office, but if you think that, it's because you never went to Siracha's one

@Robert ******
post, or maybe I missed something and I don't know where to find it

@Robert ******
, mentioned the prices in his post. Your year extension would be 1900baht and a multi-reentry permit would be 3800baht at the immigration office

OR

You pay 5000baht for the year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa at Savannakhet and you can enter/exit the country as much as you want in a year BUT you can't stay longer than 90 days

OR

You could go to the thai consulate in Savannakhet Lao and get a year-long, mulit-entry Non-O visa based on marriage without showing any financial requirements.

That visa would mean you get stamped into thailand for 90 days and at the end of that 90 days you stamp out of thailand, in&out of another country and back into thailand to get another 90 days.

You have two ways to go about it. You can apply for the yearly extension of stay by meeting the financial requirements and supplying the documentation the immigration office requires. Your application will go under consideration for 30 days and then you go back and get the year extension inked into your passport THEN you would buy a re-entry permit so you can come in and out of thailand and not lose your extension.

Price of Non O multiple 1 year is 5000 Thb, Extension of Stay for 1 year is 1900 Thb plus Multiple re-entry permit 3800 is 5700, so more expensive BUT you do not have to travel each 90 days out of the country. If you stay longer than 90 days you have to report address by internet, mail or in person at local Immigration. If you move house of cities it is for Visa and Extension the same, officially within 24 hours you need to report your new address.

So right now you're on the 90 day single entry visa and didn't apply for the year extension of stay yet? Correct? What is your nationality?
