Sadly not really any "work arounds" 😕
You could try the online 90 day reporting web-portal..

OR
If you use an immigration office that allows mail in 90 day reporting (many do, some don't) you could mail in your 90 day report (you need to send it EMS tracked Thai Post, along with a filled out TM47, copies of the data page of your passport, your most recent entry stamp, your current extension, a TM30 receipt, the 90 day report receipt from your last report AND a self addressed stamped envelope so they can mail the new 90 day report receipt back to you..
Other than those two choices (which may or may not work) you just don't do the 90 day report and once you get your new passport back you take both passports to the immigration office to get the extension stamps moved then file a late 90 day report at that time and pay the 2000baht failure to file on time fine..
isn't there a way you can time it so you can do the 90 day report and THEN renew the passport?
