I read that dtv is for seniors also, does anyone know under what category will allow this ole guy to enter for 180 days on a dtv visa?

you read wrong 😮 There is NO category of DTV that is catered towards any particular age group.

You can apply under any of the categories, just meet the conditions. Age is not a barrier to the DTV.
