went to Hua Hin Bluport location for extension. my stamp is Feb 5th, TR visa. Asked for 60day covid extension, got shutdown. can only extend for 30day. will try the other Hua Hin location in the next a couple days for the 60day covid extension.

by the way, do you have to show up in person for extension? I was hoping to do it for my wife as well without her being there.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user visited the Bluport location in Hua Hin to apply for a 60-day COVID extension for their TR visa but was informed that only a 30-day extension was possible. They plan to try a different immigration office for the 60-day extension. Additionally, the user inquired whether it is necessary for both partners to be present in person for visa extensions.

Unless I'm wrong, Bluport isn't where you go for extensions in Hua Hin.

Last reports said they weren't doing ANY extensions, just 90 day reports and TM30's.

GO to the main office and ask them.

You have to go in person to get an extension. So you and your wife both need to go to the immigration office to apply for an extension :/

There are also reports that some offices are making new arrivals on 60 day tourist visa stamps get the 30 day 'regular' extension BUT some are just automatically giving them the 60 day covid extension. It's what ever the immigration office in your area decides to do .. Post on a Hua Hin f/b group and ask if any new arrivals on tourist visas got the covid stamp extension
