Question regarding Student Visa

I have already been issued a student visa (culinary arts) and I was supposed to start mid May. But given the lockdown, I have not departed from Philippines and therefore not started school. 

Most of the update I read online pertain to work visas only. Are there similar update regarding entry using student visa?

This is Thailand, we can't predict or guess what would happen, and this isn't a guessing group. Tod gave good advice. Just keep watching the news for the latest information on who will be allowed to enter.

If you were already issued a single entry 90 day Non-ED visa from a thai consulate you will see on it the "valid until" or "enter before" date.

You have that long to get IN to the country. If you don't get here before the visa expires you will need to get another one.

There is no provision to extend the validity of visas, you have to get IN to the country before it expires.
