What Are the Current Document Requirements and Processing Times for the COVID-19 Letter from the USA Embassy?
Hi folks can anyone tell me the updated documents needed to apply for the covid 19 letter from the USA embassy and quick the turn around time has been recently for the letter?? My 30 day visa extension expires on may 7!! I'm assuming there will be an announcement still on apr 26 concerning the next steps of the thai govt??? Thanks y'all for the great work and service you provide here!

The US Embassy no longer issues the COVID letter.
The extension received to April 30 was to give you time to book flight return to the US.
What happens April 30 is anyone's best guess.
Your permission to stay is May 7.

No, the amnesty that exist until April 30th supersedes this letter.

Then your last day here in Thailand, *FOR NOW*, is May 7th.

Never assume! I would assume your last day to be in Thailand is May 7th, assuming you didn't get a 30 day extension of stay based on being a tourist (assuming that extension of stay is still being sold after April 30th).
The US Government wants all citizens to return home. So, I recommend following the US Government's advice and go home.

Never assume! I would assume your last day to be in Thailand is May 7th, assuming you didn't get a 30 day extension of stay based on being a tourist (assuming that extension of stay is still being sold after April 30th).
