After 90 days in Thailand, I have to leave the Chiang Kong border and go to Laos... it seems that you have to go back to Thai customs after two days (48 hours) at least, to be able to return to Thailand.. Is all this true...?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The responses confirm that there is a general expectation for travelers doing a border run from Thailand to Laos to stay for at least 48 hours before re-entering Thailand. Several users shared their experiences, indicating that this is becoming a common rule at border points like Chiang Kong, although experiences may vary based on individual circumstances and the specific border crossing used.

Maybe if you have Visa exempt for 60 days and then extend it for 30 and then do a border Crossing and then come back two days later it looks like you may be abusing the system, if you intend on staying more than 90 days surely you should get the visa to fitin the first place
Yes, I went to the border recently to do a one day turn around visa trip and was told I had to stay for 2 days minimum. I was given the same piece of paper below
This is because these land borders are being used by people trying to live in Thailand without a long-term visa, so they are trying to put a stop to it. Many reports of things like requiring not only a plane ticket back to your country of passport, but also proof of payment for said ticket.
