Hey just after some advice from someone who has done a visa run from Thailand to Laos recently. Is there a minimum amount i time I need to spend in Laos once I’m there or can I simply just turn around once I have had my passport stamped and come back to Thailand? Thanks in advance !

Why not go to Laos, enjoy it for a week or two while you get a proper visa and then come back with permission to stay longer?

 sure, it was just a suggestion. Personally, I’m thinking about going to Penang for the visa. It’s a beautiful island not too far from where I will be in Thailand.
