TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can book SHA EXTRA+ hotels only for their arrival day and departure day while staying in Bangkok in between, assuming they receive a negative PCR test result on the first day. Responses from the community suggest that it is possible to book the hotel for day one and day five only, allowing for alternative accommodations in between, though some are uncertain about the future of the second PCR test requirement.

I believe that they will drop the requirement for the 2nd PCR test!

Thats the problem I was highlighting! I live in Sakon Nakhon and I would have to fly back to Bangkok to test and go. The government are trying hard to continue with ruining Thailands tourism!

@David ******
that's a pain in the...

And there's no suitable accommodation nearer than in bkk?

The government will be forced to u-turn with the decision! These officials are just confirming how incompetent they are at running the country. This lot need a good shake up and get Thailand back on track!

@Roger *******
Problem is with this new government idea, you have to book a SHA hotel for the 5th day and this may well be difficult if you travel to an area that does not have a SHA registered hotel!

@David ******
in that case you can't travel there, since its a requirement to stay in compliant accommodation..
