I am pretty much at the end of my rope for dealing with my current Accounting/Visa company, I'm getting frustrated. Does anyone have a solid recommendation in Phuket for a new agency?

I need an agency that can handle:

1) Thai Company monthly accounting/payroll

2) Non-B Business Visa (About to start year 2)

3) Work Permit (About to start year 2)

4) Thai Company Year-End accounting

5) Permanent Residence as soon as I'm eligible (Oct 2024?)

It's a real company but we are still in development so there's no revenue as of now.

Not in Phuket, Bangkok yes, but not in Phuket. I might add that with no revenue you've got a long way to go before you even qualify to apply for permanent residency. There's the little detail about making at least bt80,000 a month if you're not married to a Thai, and the bt40,000 a month if you are. You won't be eligible to apply in 2024. As it is now the earliest if your business becomes profitable, and meets the financial requirement would be 2026.

Hang on so you can start your PR application at the start of year 3?

Not sure at the start. Would be good to know.

but if you're just starting year 2 today now how will you be eligible in October 2024?

I could be very wrong or maybe very stupid but surely youd have to wait 2 more years?

Depends on if the requirement is 3 Non-B Visas issued…or 3 full years.

By Oct 2024 I will have had ‘3 Yearly Non-B Business Visas issued’.

the requirements are the same visa extension continuously for three years with no breaks, and the same for work permit, and paying Thai income tax every year on at least the minimum amount. The more above that that you make reflects on the number of points you get determining your acceptance to apply. Also be aware that you can only apply for permanent residency, or citizenship, in Bangkok. Immigration in Phuket doesn't handle that, and, you personally work closely with your immigration officer that basically guides you through the process, and makes sure when you apply that everything needed is ready. Do you already have your yellow book and pink card?

would love to know the answer to that

Yes, I’m aware of the salary requirement.

Revenue can come from operations, it can also come from investment.

We don’t yet have revenue from operations. Still eligible to apply for PR however.

if you are not paying Thai income tax on at least a bt80,000 a month wage you're going to have problems.

@Kool ******
Sure. But again, this is not contingent on operational revenue - agree?

Taxes can still be paid on income paid from capital investment.

if you have not been paying Thai income tax on at least bt80,000 a month gross income then your timeline has not started for permanent residency. The Thai Citizenship group will get you on the right track.

@Kool ******
Right. But I am referring to your original comment which stated the income needs to be paid from revenue which is inaccurate.

Also, it is not an 80k monthly requirement as I understand it. It is a 960k annual requirement. This matters for eligibility as it can be Salary + Bonus.

@Mark ********
your timeline doesn't start until you pay Thai income taxes on the minimum acceptable. You only originally mentioned the business, so how would I know you also have investments you're trying to include.

@Kool ******
You wouldn’t know that. But it’s inaccurate to say I’m ineligible because the company doesn’t have revenue. The business IS the investment.
Kool *******
@Mark ********
have you been filing your Thai income taxes on the minimum acceptable amount? That's all that matters.

@Kool ******
Yes, that is what matters. Regardless of revenue I guess is the takeaway.

your other request is what my wife does in Bangkok, for a Chinese corporation.

I guess #5 is the most important since it’s more rare to find experience.
