TLDR : Answer Summary
Several recommendations surfaced for the best hotels on or near the beach in Pattaya, including Sandman Hotel, Dusit Thani, and Copacabana in Jomtien, which was praised by a guest. Other suggestions included the Flipper Hotel for its rooftop pool, A-One hotel chain, LK Emerald Beach, XQ Hotel, and Sunshine Hip Hotel. For breathtaking views, the Hilton and the newly opened Elysium were also mentioned. Additionally, Koh Larn was highlighted as a great nearby destination for better beaches.

Also, near beach in Pattaya. XQ Hotel and Sunshine Hip Hotel.
The best beaches are on Koh Larn, an island just off the coast, a short ferry ride from Pattaya. Main land Pattaya, I like the A-One hotel chain. Also, LK Emerald Beach, in Naklua was great, on the beach, and one of the better be beaches in Pattaya.
like I said if you want to burn money try the Hilton.

I like the rooftop pool at the flipper hotel. Not very expensive good view of the bay. Nice breeze up there.pattay does not.hsbe much of a beach. A few rows of chairs and umbrellas lots of shade so if you want sun hit the rooftop pool.
elysium is new beautifull hotel with sea view only been open about three months

but for a real "beach" with warm blue water, go to Koh Larn, if nothing else; a day trip-- very easy to get there by public ferry for 30 baht from Bali Hai pier at the end of Walking Street.
When you go to Koh Larn, best to take sand to the beach, π so to speak--- no real nightlife there. π 555
