I lived there 5 years , owned businesses ( not bars ) and was with my long long term partner ( not bar girl ).
I left for a quieter life and to set up business elsewhere.

I agree with you -I go to Nakhon Ratchasima because my wife comes from the North East . My perspective is that this is the Real Thailand .I am always made to feel welcome when I visit . Also I love the stunning sunsets and admiring the Peace of Rural Thailand .Sam **********
