I’m currently on a lookout for healthcare insurance plans for my family and me.

I checked the Pacific Prime Thailand website and it spit out some good quotes within my budget.

But then I asked the broker / agent of pacific prime and got totally different quotes which are way higher

Do you guys had the same experience?

What’s the best way to approach this?

Do you have any recommendation in terms of brokers, insurance companies and plans?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is searching for healthcare insurance for themselves and their family, finding that quotes from the Pacific Prime Thailand website differ significantly from those provided by their agent. They seek advice on this experience and recommendations for insurance brokers or companies. Community responses suggest various brokers and companies such as Abacus Associates, Cigna Global, Luma, AIA, and Tenzing Pacific Services, along with insights on the factors affecting insurance quotes, including age, coverage, and exclusions.

Alan is the man to talk to at the 'Thai Expat Club' (just Google it). Alan will make recommendations based on your requirements. All I had to do was the medical and pay the premium. Great service.

I would think the website is approximate examples. Real prices are going to depend on age, coverage amount, and deductible. There may be exclusions too.

I have Pacific Cross.

I was checking most of the Thai health insurance companies and found only 2 which I liked. That was Luma and AIA. They were the only one who gave me the level of yearly payment up to 99 years. And guaranteed renewal. Try this certified agent:

Cheaper companies exclude all previous (pre-existing) conditions. Cigna Global give due consideration to how long ago you were diagnosed, do you currently receive medication etc.? They determine whether a condition can be regarded as ‘resolved’ or ‘controlled’. This makes the difference between being covered or excluded. All done in a single telephone call.

is Cigna global widely accepted in Thailand? There are plenty of hospitals and clinics that accept it?
