Hello. Did anyone get their non-imm B visas (teaching) recently in Hanoi, Vientiane or Penang? Can I ask you a few questions about the application process? Thank you.

I would imagine your school would be the best people to ask for these questions.

As you mention most of your questions are answered already, but I do not see any other response on this post, the answers must be done by private message. I only hope that the answers you got are from some one who knows what a visa is and what you try to accomplish at a Thai Consulate. I wish you good luck.

You do know you need a letter written to the specific embassy as well, and you can't go to any specific embassy you wish.

Thank you Benjamin. It's for a Non-B visa for now. The only other things I found out were that the queues are minimal (which I had hoped for) and the processing times are similar to other embassies (they have 2 business days written on their website so I wanted to check if it's 'the next day' pick up which others confirmed it was). I'll update the post once I find out more information.

Are you asking for a teacher's license, or a Non-B visa? I believe the embassy doesn't check if the degree is valid or not. I know KSP does check on the validity of degrees.

Can you post the information you found for us? Things may have change, and my in-laws aren't at work right now so I can't ask them for information.

Hopefully the information you received was from the embassy, I know

Most of them have been answered already. Thank you. The only one left is about the evidence of educational qualifications. We've written to the embassies already but perhaps someone has the firsthand recent experience. Is it still the legalisation done on the territory of Thailand?

Sounds fair. What are your questions about the process?

Benjamin Hays thank you for your opinion. They are very helpful indeed but the questions I need to ask are not so much related to them at this point.
