Hi all,

Planning to apply DTV Soft Power (Muay Thai) at Thai Embassy in Hanoi.

When submitting bank statements in Hanoi, did you only provide the ending balance / summary version, or did you need to include full transaction history?

Any recent 2026 experiences? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the DTV Soft Power visa related to Muay Thai at the Thai Embassy in Hanoi, it is advised to submit full bank statements rather than just the ending balance. This approach provides a clearer picture of financial consistency, which is often preferred by embassies. While there can be slight variations depending on the reviewing officer, preparing both the full transaction history and the summary statement is recommended to enhance the chances of approval.

From what people have shared recently, most embassies, including Hanoi, usually expect full bank statements rather than just the ending balance, so they can see consistency of funds, not just a snapshot.

That said, requirements can still vary slightly depending on the officer reviewing your case, so it’s safer to prepare both.

If you’re applying through the Muay Thai route, we run structured training at WKK Gym in Bangkok and can guide you on what’s typically needed from the gym side.

Happy to discuss more if helpful 👍
