Hi. Applying for a tourist visa online at London. will be entering Thailand from USA. Am a uk citizen. Have submitted all etickets. First flight from London to LA, three weeks later flight from LA to Bangkok. They are asking for more info but not specific. Any idea what I need to provide please? Or is the issue arriving via USA? Thank you 🙏

What are the timings of your flights?

Do they leave plenty of time to receive the visa while remaining in the UK? If so you could try explaining why you are travelling to Thailand in such a roundabout manner

flying to USA from UK on November 5 then to Bangkok on Nov 23. Applied for the visa three weeks ago

I would upload a letter with that detail and explaining why although your timing may be a bit tight with it coming into high season

Are you sure? They're usually very specific. The red text under the request for more information should say exactly what they're asking for.

if the embassy requires a flight from the country of application, it's possible. That's why I suggested some workarounds. There's no requirement to use the flights on your application once you receive the visa

it says they want confirmation of travel from the UK. I have provided this. I’m not sure what to give them next. And wondering if my problem is the London to LA flight as not entering the Kingdom directly from the UK

most embassies want to see a direct flight from where you're applying to Thailand, to prove that you're actually in that country where you're applying from.

You could try an onward flight ticket from an online company or a refundable ticket.
