When arriving in Thailand, do I need to show anything more than the VISA inside my passport to get the 6 months stamp? Any additional documents?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving in Thailand with a visa, you will only need to show your visa inside your passport to receive the 6-month stamp. It is important to ensure that the immigration officer can easily see your visa to avoid any confusion with visa-exempt entries. If you have a sticker DTV visa obtained at a consulate, simply present your passport opened to the page with the sticker. If you have an eVisa, print it out and show it along with your passport.

Nothing else, but make sure to highlight you have the visa, as they may inadvertently think you are entering visa exempt.

well, a "perk" for me is that I'm from a country that's NOT elegible to enter visa free 😂😭 so they would never think I'm coming as a free visa tourist

If you have a sticker DTV (got at a consulate you went to in person to apply) just hand the passport to the officer at passport control with it open to the page that has the DTV sticker on it

If you have an 'eVisa' DTV (got it by applying online at a consulate and had the PDF emailed to you) print that PDF file (it is your visa) and hand it and your passport to the officer at passport control
