Hi everyone it’s me again! This time it’s about Thaipass. So should I scan passport for my thaipass or just take normal photo?
Another serious question is my sister, her name on vaccine card is wrong. Her name is SOPHEAR and on her vaccine card is without R only SOPHEA. But when we scan on vaccine card QR code there is her face in it. Will this problem make her thaipass not parrots? P.s we haven’t apply for thaipass yet we plan to ask you guys first. And we have no idea where to change the name in vaccine card!
Any suggestions? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about using a normal photo versus scanning their passport for Thaipass and expresses concern over a name mismatch on their sister's vaccine card that may affect her Thaipass application. Commenters suggest fixing the vaccine card to avoid issues and share experiences with the application process, indicating that both the QR code's resolution and the correct documentation are essential for approval.
For me the form in the web page won’t accept the QR code unless it’s cropped to show just the QR code. You have to try few times to get it a high enough resolution. I got approval in 2 minutes after submitting because of the QR code , my previous application had no QR code and was not responded to for 7 days.
They won't care if the photo matches. You really need to get the vaccine card fixed for many reasons, including likely needing to show it for many things inside Thailand, and if it doesn't match you will potentially have issues.
