Wondering if anyone knows if you can apply for this visa while in Thailand or does it have to be done on your home country beforehand?

We are currently here and would like to stay during the winter. I wish I had done this before we left but we had planned to explore other countries.

It has to be applied for outside of Thailand, in your home country or any other country which allows nonresidents to apply. Many in Thailand go to Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos Vietnam to apply.

that‘ actually a great visa even for retirees as long as one is interested in cooking class (would exclude the Mueng Thai🤔).

Just wonder if, after leaving and returning, one has to prove again the attendance of a class…

It’s a multiple entry visa, should mean that you can leave the country during the 180 days but are allowed to be in TH max 180 days per year starting with the date of the visa, is that correct?

And what does this “180 days + 180 days” mean please?

multiple entry means EVERY time you enter Thailand you get 180 day stamp. There is no limit per year.

You can apply one time each entry for 180 day extension. So 180+180
