I received my eVisa and wondering when I land at BKK is there a counter for those that have an eVisa? Always did the visa on arrival. Thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon arrival at BKK, there is no special counter for travelers with an eVisa. You should have your eVisa printed out to show to the Thai immigration officer. Use the usual immigration line and ensure that the stamp in your passport reflects the correct number of days allowed by your eVisa.

My guess is that you have entered VISA EXEMPT in the past..
NOT VOA Visa on Arrival.
When you arrive in Thailand, have your Evisa printed out to show the Thai immigration officer.
That way you will be stamped in for the correct time ALLOWED by the Evisa.
And double check the stamp placed in your passport to be sure you got the correct number of days you are entitled to.
You will use the usual line for the Thai Immigration Officer to greet you on arrival. No special line for the Evisa recipients.
that’s for those who have pre-approved EVisa On Arrival from 17 countries. Your eVisa is not. You will go to “standard” passport control counters. No special counter for eVisa holders.
hmmm... Look for it and let us know what you find.
As I will return to Thailand in a week... I will look for it too... Although I have my re-entry permit for my Retirement.
On second thought...
Those who are ENTERING Thailand VOA Visa on Arrival
Can have either used the Evisa online application for the VOA Visa on Arrival.. vs making application for the VOA Visa on Arrival when they do first arrive.
So... All who are entering VOA Visa on Arrival use that direction to get STAMPED into Thailand.
yes you’re correct James, it was Visa exempt. I just wondered if I go to another counter. Remember seeing a video on YouTube and there was a sign for eVisa. 🙏
I just asked a buddy of mine who came through on an eVisa just last week. He said he joined the usual queue. Make sure you have a printed copy of the PDF document which they emailed to you, as they need to stamp this, as well as the usual entry stamp in your passport
