Good day! Is this a current rule? Referring to the 30 day stamp 6 times a year…

However, this change only applies to visitors who have not obtained a visa beforehand, and are entering from the border by land. Those who arrive at the airport without a prior visa will continue to receive a 30-day stamp up to 6 times per calendar year. Extensions at Thai Immigration for the visa exemption stamps remain to be 30 days for a fee of 1,900 baht.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current rule regarding the 30-day stamp for visitors entering Thailand without a visa, stating it can be obtained up to 6 times a year, has been questioned. It primarily applies to land border crossings. Some comments indicate that the information may be outdated, and it is suggested that there have been no recent changes to this regulation, reinforcing that the original rule permitting multiple entries remains unchanged.

That is not an official website, but you can find the publish / update dates in the html (they hide them from the article).

Fully agree. It was 2 per calendar year when I first came to Thailand over ten years ago.

No, it's not currently and has never been a rule.

Also this website is from an agency and is intended for profit.

no such rule lol. Never believe what you read from secondhand websites. Believe what is actual facts and from a official website or even better when it's published in the Royal Gazette.

caution should still be taken. Put yourself in the shoes of a passport control officer and think "is this person a tourist?"
