Hi Guys, Is trading online considered a remote activity? the taxes paid are only on capital gains, not on income.

I was thinking of getting a letter from the bank explaining that I work remotely on my own, and attaching all the transactions of the past year, with taxes paid.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question addresses whether online trading qualifies as remote work for tax implications in Thailand. It's noted that taxes are applied only to capital gains, not regular income. Some users suggest that obtaining documentation from the bank to confirm remote work and declaring previous transactions may aid in this process. Insights from comments indicate that online traders have successfully navigated tax requirements and point out that there is no minimum income requirement, just a capital threshold.

Anonymous participant consider that a freelancer is somebody who works for themselves but has clients, do you feel you qualify? On the other hand you may be able to state that you invest/work remotely and tour around to get ideas and inspect for investment, do you have a company set up?
