Border crossing - Chiang Dao's Kew Pha Wok - anyone been here recently?
Googles says it might have opened. Just wondering if anyone has been recently. Much closer than Mae Sai.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the status of the Kew Pha Wok border crossing near Chiang Dao, Thailand. The original poster is inquiring if this crossing is currently open for foreigners, as it could provide a closer alternative to Mae Sai for border runs. Several comments express skepticism about its openness to foreigners, with one user stating they found no signs of immigration activity. Ultimately, there are no confirmed updates on the crossing's status, and one user suggested opting for Mae Sai instead due to the lack of information.

remember there are a LOT of border crossings which thais and people from the neighboring country can use BUT foreigners can't.
I don't know about that one though.

I would be shocked if that border is open for 'border runs'. If you give it a go, report back.
