It all depends on what you want to do while you’re here in Thailand and who you’re traveling with
Robert *****
In Phuket take a couple day trips by large boat. Your hotel will have those brochures.

Out of those 3 locations i would spend less on Phuket and more time at Krabi. 2 days at Phiphi is about right, any longer can get pretfy repeitive and you'll be sick of the backpackers

the weather pattern of the Eastern Coast for month August is more promising than on the Andaman side with Phuket and the whole of the Phang Nga archipelago.

Also, the Gulf of Siam islands are pretty OK to visit in August - Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Ko Tao. The weather in the Gulf side is a tad different than it is on the Andaman side. The Gulf islands sport a “micro-climate” – a very own pattern. There might be rain but just for 1 hour, and the rest of the day you enjoy clear skies.

The Tennasarim Mountain range blocks rainclouds coming in from the Indian Ocean to reach the Gulf side . . .

however, weather predictions are difficult, and more so as the climate heating is changing decade old patterns. I avoid to generalize my advice. Weather 3 months away from now is not predictable in detail

You can do phuket, khao sok, phi phi, krabi and day trips to railay beach, hong island, phang nga bay, james bond island, similan. Here's a travel guide with an itinerary organized by date and time covering these places with tips about where to go, what to do, where to stay, how to move around, where to book everything and all costs

November forward is best the Rain really does spoil the experience to be honest

28 days is what you need for your schedule ,.

15 days in Pattaya

@Ga***
No it's not, there are many great places to see in around Pattaya that are not sex tourism related.
Jared **********
@Tom *******
there’s also many great places that aren’t pattaya and have none of the sex tourism, also the beaches are terrible. Going to pattaya for none of what it is notorious for is like going to an ice cream shop and asking if they sell hot dogs

Each to their own if you like that sort of thing you will find it

No, I already have a free flight in november, but I will not stay longer than 175 days. A friend told me that my bike is dirty. I have to clean it. 😅
Nongnuch ********
depends on the time of the year. You don't want to experience the rainy season

not good for travelling to any of the island that time of the year that's why the flights & hotels are cheaper because it's rainy season (monsoons) its not good idea to be in or on the water big waves & strong currents.Come November-May worth spending the extra cash to have a good holiday
Thomas *******
@Billel *******
, 2 weeks in middle of rainy season, don't plan for much.

@Billel *******
not so ideal

May I ask where you found this weather table?

@Stephan **********
you can find dozens of weather tables for Thailand if you google, mostly the same, August is middle of rainy season on Phuket, Khao Lak, Phang Nga bay. Of course nowadays the weather can always been totally contrarary to what all weather tables say, you never know
Stephan ***********
@Nongnuch *******
That I know... but I asked specifically for this one. Do you have any link?
