TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for having 500,000 baht in your bank account for 3 months prior to applying for a Thai visa is not universally applicable. Responses indicate that requirements vary between embassies. Some individuals reported being able to provide bank balances just at the time of application, while others had varying experiences with the timeframe and amounts required. It's advisable to check with the specific embassy where you are applying for accurate and updated information.
