TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about obtaining a short-term education visa in Thailand for 3 to 6 months. Current information suggests that all education visas (ED) may be on hold, and the individual is advised to consider a tourist visa instead. Recommendations include using the 45-day exemption and applying for a 60-day tourist visa from a neighboring country. There are concerns related to the applicant's visa history which may complicate obtaining a new visa, especially given her current situation during pregnancy.

Go to legitimate language school and ask - the ED visa is likely to be re introduced with some new rules. Question is how long will it take.

it's only going to.get more restrictive with inflation soring in the west and people fleeing to other countries

at least the Russians are funding their own war. The Ukrainians are nothing more than welfare recipients leaching of American tax payers.😭

Even if they are giving ED visas out you will struggle to get one inside Thailand with your history. You've been for something like 8 months already on a mixture of visa exempt entries and Covid visas. If you are in the last weeks of your pregnancy you might be able to get a medical extension but that will depend on your hospital doctor providing information for you to take to immigration and immigration accepting that.

I see you have Covid extensions, you can actually forget about any Visa, sorry to say, but look for alternative countries to settle in

What you are looking for a is a tourist visa. Use your visa exempt up or plus 30 day extension, then pop over to a neighboring country and apply for a 60 day visa that then can be extended 30 days more for the 3 months you want. You might have some trouble doing so, but probably not if you have not abused the system in the past.

There stuff going on with the Ed visa due to all the abuse. If you are going to a legitimate school you can ask them questions.

As far as i am aware all ED Visas are on Hold at the moment. I saw a post that said you now need to leave the country to get one.

Not an issue for ED visa for university or international school. Only for leaning a language or Muay Thai and the like.
