Hi everyone, I have a visa run related question. 

Does anyone know if currently it's possible to do a visa run at Padang Besar and return the same day? Or it might be required to spend a night on the Malaysian side?

Getting a visa in Malaysia is a one day turnaround time. Do you mean doing a border hop, where you leave Thailand and reenter to get another 30 day visa exempt/ activate another 90 days on a Multiple Entry visa?
