TLDR : Answer Summary
Currently, EU citizens cannot travel to Thailand unless they are residents or have valid work conditions due to strict immigration rules. The general consensus among community responses highlights that tourism is not allowed at present, and alternative arrangements (like being married to a Thai national) may provide exceptions. Commenters also discuss the challenges faced by travelers and provide insights on what constitutes 'living' in Thailand.

What is classed as living in Thailand? Is owning a house or a current rental agreement enough? For people staying here in an over 50 basis is that classed as living here?
. Permanent Resident or Citizen. That's it! Otherwise you're just in transit. "Living" is NOT a series of 90 day reports, TM30s, border bounces, visa runs, extensions, showing 800,000 baht dead money in a bank account, pictures of you and your wife shaggin in your bedroom, kitchen and out the front of your condo. Don't be silly now! This is Thailand. You can own a million dollars worth of condos at Asoke, but if you're out of the country at the moment, you're stuffed! Expats have to stop pretending their "home" is Thailand!!
I don't need Visa at all :) 15 days without. but can't come anyway , beacause they don't want tourists

You should clarify where you are from. There is no country called the EU, and Thailand treats every country differently. When you ask a question with vague information, you'll never get a proper answer
. Norway has done a pretty good job containing the virus so you wouldn't be labelled as "infected" like some European countries, but if you're talking about coming as a tourist, there's zero possibility at the moment, but I'd certainly be checking in from time to time to monitor the situation. Like most people seem to be thinking (and it's just speculation), tourists are looking at least October.
For those who don’t like someone asking this question just scroll on!
Not your business!
Why do you have to be rude?

sneaky quarantine "tax" of mandatory expensive hotel quarantine which the authorities are doubtless collecting a percentage of. Short sighted short term gain for long term loss. they seem determined to bury their tourism income. Someone should show them a breakdown of their economic revenue sometime.
